When I had COVID, I turned to Scripture—and found more than comfort.
I found a calling.
Years before, I survived a 35-day escape from Vietnam on a tiny wooden boat.
God sustained me through hunger, fear, and uncertainty.
And now, again, He was calling me—this time to walk with others.
As I recovered, retreats, prayer, and spiritual study drew me deeper.
I realized:
The same God who led me through storms…
was now inviting me to guide others through theirs.
That’s why I became a Spiritual Director.
