From a young age, I had an unusual interest in continuing the stories I would watch in movies, imagining how they would unfold into “Part 2.” I would often feel a desire to write the continuation of the movies I loved, as though I could bring a new dimension to them. God blessed me with that sense and the ability to lay out the steps needed to reach the destination I envisioned.

As I grew older, I realized that every person has a unique story to tell, and I had my own—a story titled A Girl Without a Childhood. This story was something I felt compelled to share, so I researched ghostwriters and interviewed a few of them. However, as I explored the process, I realized that working with a ghostwriter did not allow me to find my true voice. I knew I couldn’t afford the best ghostwriters, so I made a decision to take matters into my own hands.

I enrolled in a two-year program to learn how to write and publish my own books. It was through this experience that I not only learned about the writing and publishing industry but also discovered how to share my journey and knowledge with others through my storytelling, even though my book hasn’t been published yet. My coaching background helped me see how I could use my skills to help others write and publish their books as well.

One of the proudest moments for me has been seeing the success of my daughter’s books, which she published on her own. Her works can be found on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/stores/author/B077MFLZ45), and watching her flourish in this space has been a great inspiration for me.
