In my life, I have felt the guiding hand of the Holy Spirit in ways that have profoundly shaped my spiritual journey. From the very beginning, I can see how God’s plan unfolded, granting my husband and me four beautiful children. They have been a constant source of joy and growth, not only as my children but as the people who have helped shape me into the person I am today. My journey has been intertwined with theirs, and each encounter, each moment with them and others, has left a mark on my heart.
But the journey has not been without its challenges. One day, the Holy Spirit allowed something unexpected—COVID—to bring me to my knees. The pandemic, with all its difficulties, became a turning point. It was in that quiet and uncertain space that I was able to listen to Him more clearly than ever before. Through the trials, I felt His presence, whispering truths and offering a new perspective on life.
This period of hardship led me to a new chapter of spiritual growth—spiritual direction formation. It’s here that I experienced a deeper connection with God, allowing His voice to be more prominent in my life. Through this formation, I have been blessed with new insights, experiences, and opportunities for reflection. I feel that every moment, every person, and every challenge in my life has been a way for the Holy Spirit to guide me closer to Him, helping me become more attuned to His will and direction.
And here, I’m serving as a Spiritual Director at St. Mary Expectation, where I serve the parishioners with a heart full of grace and dedication, helping others grow in their own spiritual journeys.
